I only see a few hail dings. Is my damage really that bad?
Many times, yes. Being able to see hail damage requires trained eyes and specialized lighting. After a storm, when looking at a vehicle outside or under normal light, hail damage can often go undetected. We have many customers who unknowingly have purchased vehicles from another individual with hail damage previously on the vehicle and weren’t even aware of it. We also have many customers who are shocked to know that what appears to be only 5-10 dents is actually hundreds of dents on their car.
How can I trust you? Aren’t all repair facilities the same?
We understand that automotive places sometimes get a bad rep. You want to be able to trust that the repairs are necessary and that you’re not being taken advantage of. We have been in business locally for 19+ years and have a reputation for perfection. We strive for 5 on customer reviews and know that our clients need to trust us. We are more than happy to offer client references and to allow you the opportunity to see your car under our specialized lights to point out the damage that may otherwise be unseen to the naked eye.
Do I need to file a claim? How does that process work?
Getting the ball rolling with a claim to your insurance company helps move you through the process. Insurance companies can sometimes be slow to process claims, especially during hail storms. Once you file the initial claim, we will do a preliminary estimate on your vehicle. Depending on your insurance company, many times they will require a more extensive detailed estimate including photos of the damage under special lighting in order to validate the vehicle’s damage. We take care of this process for you, doing what we can to save you the hassle.
How long will this process take?
When a major hailstorm has hit, insurance companies differ on their approval process. We can only begin repairs once we have approval from an insurance company to do so. Some insurance companies are quick to authorize (yay for local insurance reps), but some can be slow and drag their feet. We strive to do our part to encourage the insurance company to approve repairs as quickly as possible so that you can get your car back to new. Please remember…we cannot move forward on any repairs until an insurance company has given us the approval. This can sometimes cause delays, but we do our best to move through this process as quickly as possible.
Why can’t I get my repair done ASAP?
Keep in mind, a major hail repair can take a week or so, depending on the severity. When a major storm has hit, our schedule books up quickly based on when we receive approval from the insurance company. Just like any repair company, we can only schedule a certain amount of repairs for each week. This sometimes means having to be patient and possibly booking your repair down the road. We are confident in our abilities and have many testimonials of clients who will assure you our work is worth the wait. We take our time with each vehicle to restore it back to pre-storm condition. Unlike many fly by night pop up shops who move quickly through the process trying to make as much profit as they can and then leave town, we are dedicated to completely remove the blemishes because we are local and we know that our reputation depends on our work. Most pop up shops will quickly move on to the next town’s hailstorm and service after the repair is impossible.
Do you work with other body shops if my car does need painted?
We work in conjunction with many local body shops. We have a working reputation with Ed Morse in Lebanon and St. Robert, Brown’s Body Shop in Camdenton, Hulett Chevrolet Buick GMC in Camdenton, and many others. They trust us for all their paintless dent repairs and when needed, collaborate with us for paint and body work repairs.
